For those who do not know. Handbook is another way to say 'Rules'. Please read all of them, it's for your own safety. For the sake of the staff's sanity. Violation of the rules will result in a warning, or possibly a banishment. This is the entire list of rules covering all of the categories such as characters, posting, signatures and avatars.
Posting
1. When posting, it's always a good idea to stay on topic. If you're unsure what this means, then let us make it clear for you. Staying on topic means not talking on and on about random things. Sure, we all stray off topic at one point or another. Let's try to catch ourselves before arguments or flaming breaks out. Straying of topic constantly makes you seem feather brained. Thus giving a negative impression about you.
2. Cursing frequently does not make you seem cool. Only foolish. Cursing often will make it seem like you know no other words. So therefore a list of substitute words has been laid out for you. Some will recognize it from the South Park skit, 'It's easy M'kay'.
Step 1: Instead of ass say buns, like "kiss my buns" or "you're a buns hole"
Step 2: Instead of shit say poo, as in "bull poo", "poo head" and this "poo is cold"
Step 3: With bitch drop the t because bich is latin for generosity
Step 4: Dont say fuck any more because fuck is the worst word that you can say
So just use the word m'kay!
3. Please don't post blank things. Yes, "..." is still blank, at least have the decency to say a few words. This rule also goes with spamming. Not spamming makes the staff members jobs a little bit easier. A happy staff makes a happy forum. A happy forum makes roleplaying easier, plus more contests, and maybe even other activities will be added if the members have performed well enough to deserve it.
4. Keep your posts PG-13. No higher, Proboards TOS [Terms of Service] does not allow posts any higher than that. If you would like to keep this forum alive, keep your posts PG-13. If it were up to me, we could have R rated posts. Sorry guys.
5. Make sure the title has something to do with the content of the post. It's very annoying to see posts like "My mother died" and go in to read it and it be about shoes or something. Also makes you seem like an attention whore. Just saying.
6. If you are Roleplaying try to make your posts intense. I would like to see your characters fly off the screen into real life and possibly even feel what they're feeling. This makes roleplaying more enjoyable to read and write.
7. No one liners, come on guys we can do better! A minimum of 100 words per post. 200+ is appreciated! Less than 100 will be removed, it also makes you seem lazy.
8. If you do use a quote, song, poem or piece of a story please give credit to the rightful owner, if you do not know who the owner is just say 'I give all credit to the rightful owner of this quote/poem/story/song used in my post!' It's not hard guys. Plus it'll keep the SOPA's tittles calm.
9. Show respect when posting, enough said.
10. Please spell the whole word, no text talk. Also if you can try to spell it correctly. There is no shame in using the 'Spell Check' button down there.
Characters
1. Don't make perfect characters. No ones perfect, everyone has one or two flaws. Even the most put together people do. Perhaps tell what some of them are in the personality description.
2. You may have as many characters you want, so long as you can keep them active in Roleplays. The recommended amount for most members is two characters.
3. When giving a physical description of your character they cannot be overly beautiful. Sure pretty is nice, but not everyone is beautiful. Keep that in mind!
4. When writing a characters history, please leave the sob stories out. I mean things like "His mother died when he was one moon old, his father had died also so he was an orphan. Then his brothers and sisters died so he was a double orphan."
5. Names must be similar to the warrior names in the books. You may not steal the names from the book. Also try to be creative with your names, just make sure the names consist of things that warriors might possibly know. If I see the words: knife, explosion, car, or anything like that I will delete your biography completely on sight.
Roleplaying
1. Since I believe this is a warrior forum I do not want to see any Rp's that don't have anything to do with warriors. This does not go for the advertisement board.
2. Make sure that the title, again has something to do with what is going on in the RP. Make it exciting, something that I might want to click on. I'll change the title if you do anything like "Roleplay #1" or something like that.
3. Should you feel the need to "twitterpate" (mate) do not post it in the boards. You can be as nasty as you want on someone else's forum if their host allows it. Rp's violating this rule will be deleted on sight.
4. No Godmodding, meaning you cannot take control of another's character in any way shape or form. No exceptions.
Signatures & Avatars
1. Use appropriate pictures for your signatures. Anything under PG-13 is okay. You may have people kissing, so long as nothing else is happening. Signatures violating this will be replaced.
2. No curse words or vulgar phrases should be present in the signature. Signatures violating this will be replaced with a default one made by the admin.
3. Signatures should not stretch the page, 350x by 200x is the size limit. Signatures violating this will be replaced.
4. If you need help with re-sizing your signature do not be afraid to ask Sachibelle for help, or perhaps another staff member. They will kindly help you.
5. You may not have playlists in your signatures. This is for various reasons, and would also dramatically lengthen the list of rules.
6. Keep gang symbols & drugs out of the signatures. We're not ghetto central.
