Other:
Firecloud is a somewhat family oriented cat who watches out for those who haven’t betrayed her. She is a gentle cat with a big heart who hardly thinks of herself. She is quick to trust new friends but remembers forever if you hurt her. She is adventurous but is aware that her fur colors can expose her if she is not careful where she goes.
When upset or deep in thought, she likes to lay a few feet in the forest, so there aren’t too many noises distracting her from her thoughts. Her whiskers curl in an awkward position when she laughs or smiles. She loves nature but gets annoyed with butterflies when they constantly fly next to or around her. She is the same way with flies.
She likes to know what’s going on most of the time, but knows her limits. She can be shy but is fierce in battle. She is not harsh but can be when necessary. She also doesn’t like being asked questions over and over again. She is a lovable young cat that does what she can, when she can, to protect her friends, family, and clan.
HISTORY
Family:
Meadowheart--- Mother/dead
Firestorm---Father/alive
Shatterstorm---Brother/alive
History:
Origin
Firecloud’s mother, Meadowheart, was a young cat who ran away from her two-leg owners. She was beautiful in almost all aspects. She had a kind heart, which allowed her to help whomever needed it. Firestorm, Firecloud's father, was adventurous but peaceful. When he was born, he was already a stray. His mother died when he was a few moons old. Though still young, he went on to find a beautiful she-cat named Meadowheart. They fell in love after being together only a few weeks. With that, they became mates and had two kits named Firekit and Shatterkit.
Kit-hood
Firekit was about the same size as Shatterkit, so neither were runts. They were born in a barn, on a property that had been neglected by two-legs. Firekit was about as adventurous as a kit could be, but never got into trouble. One day, after she came back to the barn with a mouth full of kill, she saw her mother’s motionless body at the entrance of the barn. Her father and brother were still out hunting. She got closer, seeing her mother didn’t just die from natural causes; she was covered in blood. Firekit quickly checked the barn and surrounding areas for anyone who didn’t belong there. She found no one, and went back to her mother. After a few weeks, life went on like normal, but they hardly mentioned Meadowheart.
Apprentice-ship
A few moons after their mother’s death, Firestorm decided they should start learning how to fight. Firestorm then gave them each their new names, Shatterpaw and Firepaw. Firepaw trained even when Firestorm wasn’t teaching them techniques. All she did was practice hunting and fighting. She occasionally played with Shatterpaw. When she did, she was always really happy. Even when training, she was always as nice as she was when she was a kit, and was never sharp-tongued or harsh when someone interrupted her. She did what she was supposed to do, and got it all done when she was supposed to.
Less than two days before the end of their apprentice-ship, all three cats decided to spend the night in the forest. When they found where they would sleep, they stopped and hunted. Not knowing they were close to a clan, and had just entered their territory, they ate their catch and started to go to sleep. A few hours into the night, a fox sensed them close by. Firepaw was the closest to the fox, so it attacked her. Waking up soon after it scratched her, she yowled in pain, waking up her father and brother. She couldn’t get up fast enough and it scratched and bit her multiple times before she could get away from it. When her father saw the fox attacking her, he jumped on its back, biting and scratching like crazy. Shatterpaw went for the neck, biting it as hard as he could. The fox shook them off and ran at Firepaw, who was already knocked out from the pain.
Warrior-hood
Waking up several hours later, Firepaw didn’t recognize the place she was in. She saw her brother and father next to her, sleeping. She then heard someone say: “She’s awake. Someone go get Fawngaze”. She didn’t remember anything from the night before, but she felt an immense pain in her flank and left back leg. She laid her head back down. Then a cat came into the den and said: “Well, you’re awake. That’s good. Do you feel any pain?” Firepaw said yes and looked around the den trying to find out what kind of den it was. She saw many types of herbs and figured it must be some sort of den where sick or injured cats go. The cat named Fawngaze asked Firepaw if she needed any food or water. She shook her head. Then Fawngaze told her to get some rest, and that the pain would soon subside. Firepaw closed her eyes but didn’t try to sleep for a few minutes. She heard some other cats whispering. And then she drifted off into sleep.
One moon later, Firepaw was able to walk again and do everything like normal. She was thirteen moons old and decided it was time for her to get her full name. She asked her father and he said she and her brother would be given their full names later that night, as they had already proven they were ready to become warriors. That evening, they were given their warrior names. Their names were Firecloud and Shatterstorm.
Four moons later, Firecloud had memorized the warrior code, and everything was absolutely normal. Or as normal as it would get.
RP SAMPLE
Taking place when she was 15 moons
The air was chilly that morning, just like any other day of leaf-fall. Firecloud stretched, looking around the den. Seeing that everyone was asleep, she carefully wove her way through the den, trying not to wake anyone. She managed to get out without disturbing anyone. She looked around camp, seeing that no one was out in the clearing. She looked up at the sky. Wherever the sun was, it was covered with light gray clouds. Her leg twitched. She walked to the edge of the forest. “Is the forest a little too quiet, or is it just me?” she thought. She walked a few feet into the forest. She heard something scuffling about. She paused and sniffed the air, smelling a mouse. “Well, I might as well try to catch it. It might be big, since it’s not leaf-bare yet.”
After catching the mouse, which was somewhat plump, she buried it quickly, wanting to explore the forest a little more. She looked around, searching for the biggest tree she could find. Once she found it, she climbed it quickly. She leapt onto a branch and looked around. Being able to see much more of the forest from the tree, she decided to memorize a path to follow. She did this as fast as she could, so that she would have longer to explore it. Then she heard a *SNAP*. She jumped onto the branch next to her, right as the branch she was standing on fell to the ground with a thud. “That was really close!” she said, her heart racing. She hoped she hadn’t woken anybody, as it was still pretty early. She climbed back down the tree, the path etched into her brain.
As she neared the end of the path, she realized someone might be up now, wondering where she was. She looked up through the treetops, only to see the gray clouds. She spent a few more minutes looking around, and then decided it was time to go back to camp. She knew someone was up by now. Whether or not they knew she was gone, she didn’t know. She sat down, sniffing the air. Just as she stood up to go back to camp, she heard a bloodcurdling shriek, not too far away…….
