FirecloudFirecloud leapt silently up into the trees, looking around furiously for Lacrimosa. The orange tabby could no longer speak, and she knew that her loss of words was an advantage for Lacrimosa. She slunk into the shadows of the trees, bumping up against the trunk of the tree. Her eyes darted around vigorously, feeling stupid for getting herself into this mess in the first place.
Frusturated that she couldn't find Lacrimosa, she slowly climbed down the tree, and headed farther away from the camp. She didn't know why, but she just followed where her feet took her. She could feel the rogues eyes on her as she hurriedly limped away, and she picked up her pace, terribly frightened that she wouldn't make it out of the forest alive.

Lacrimosa
Lacrimosa followed the other cat silently through the forest, leaping from tree limb-to-tree limb. Her frail frame made her look like a large squirrel, thanks to the fact that she almost never got a decent meal. She laughed to herself, watching the cat under her limp away from her precious camp. Stupid clan cat, she can't take a clue...
The bengal cat's fur shone dully in the filtering light from the trees, casting shifty shadows on her fur. The small, leopard-like markings on her fur stood out like it was the last peice of prey on the fresh-kill pile. She jumped down from the tree gracefully, her agile body landing in a walking position.
"Poor, poor Firecloud. First she can't speak, then she gets farther away from camp. No one can help you now, you know that? Anyways, take a lesson from me. Clans are a waste of time. You don't need to feed anyone but yourself," the rogue challenged, an innocent smile plastered onto her face.
"Oh, and it's not called cold-hearted. It's called survival. Which brings me to another subject. I'll let you go this time, but you better not challenge me again," Then she slipped into the shadows, with no actual intent on leaving. Her green-silver eyes dialated, getting used to the dimness and gloom of the shade. Words;; 221 ;o;

The she-cats words went through one ear and out the other. She was truly tired of listening and being stupid. She wanted to end this, send the other cat running away, yowling in pain. Firecloud knew that it was only false hope; which was what her life had been filled with.
Lacrimosa slunk back into the shadows, and Firecloud raised her head. She knew that Lacrimosa wasn't gone, and knew that she wouldn't be until she had finished her off. When Firecloud had been with Ashstorm, moons ago, the bangal cat hadn't left them when she said she would, and this time was no different.
Firecloud, confused on what to do and full of pain, continued walking in the direction she had been; away from camp. She knew that this was very stupid on her part, but she also thought someone could help her. Someone from a different clan. There was only a small chance she would catch a patrol, but she held onto that chance for dear life.Lacrimosa. The she-cats words went through one ear and out the other. Lacrimosa_ "It's not called Cold-hearted, it's called survival."
Lacrimosa wasn't stupid. She knew Firecloud wouldn't hear a thing she said, she knew she'd ignore it, she knew she wouldn't remember it. That's why the words were flying out of the bengal's mouth. No matter what Firecloud tried, she couldn't stop being annoyed by the fact that the small rogue was speaking to her. The lithe, black-spotted cat flew above the other cats head, shaking the limbs violently on some trees, barely making a sound on others. "This is why you're such a fun victim," she called down to Firecloud. "No matter what, you won't give up a fight. Your jaw is broken and you didn't give up just then. You're still trying to kill me, even if it isn't the biggest thing on your list."
She kept jumping from tree to tree, keeping her hawk-like eyes on the figure below her. To preoccupy herself, and annoy the irritating little warrior below her, she started humming to herself. It was a rather creepy tune, but it fit the scenery. At least, the rogue thought so. Taking a short break from her dreary funeral music, the cat called down to Firecloud.
"Hey, where are we going?" Upon recieving no answer, she simply snickered. Falling gracefully to the ground, she landed with a small clud infront of Firecloud, her body twisted in some acrobatic position. She sat down, trying to look at if she was towering over the Brushclan warrior. That had no effect, though. She was much shorter than the other cat. Oh well, she still looked hauntingly beautiful in the dim light. "Well?" Lacrimosa said, uninterested. "Will you tell me where we are going or shall I make you?"

Firecloud"Make me," the orange tabby hissed, eyes hard and cold. Firecloud was truly tired of the bangal cats games, and wanted them to end. In truth, Firecloud had no idea where she was going; lying to herself moments earlier had seemed like her best option at the time. She knew that no one from another clan was going to see her, and she'd known it all along.
"I haven't given up yet, because I'm not an idiot, like you've accused me of being so many times. I knew you wouldn't have left me and let me go back to camp, because you didn't the last time." She had been referring to the last time she had seen Ashstorm, when Lacrimosa had been taunting and teasing them, and she almost choked on her words. "If you were smart, you would have figured I wouldn't have given up. But, I guess we were both wrong," the blue-eyed cat meowed simply, twitching her tail back and forth.
"Just don't assume things, and you should actually get somewhere with your life," Firecloud said, touching her nose with the rogues. Blinking for a moment, the orange tabby finally pulled back, satisfied with what she had said. Words;; 200

Lacrimosa_ "It's not called Cold-hearted, it's called survival."
"Why should I believe your not an idiot? You've never given me a reason to believe so. And I never asked for your life's story, missy. I stated that you didn't give up. Don't lecture me about it," the glossy-furred bengal purred, flicking her tail under Firecloud's chin. She stood up, shaking her exotic-looking fur and carefully examining the markings. "Hm. That's strange..." she yawned, acting like she was no longer interested in the Brushclan warrior. "I'm never wrong," Lacrimosa hissed, not missing a heartbeat. Her piercing eyes looked back at Firecloud, then dropped back to her fur, continuing her earlier conversation. "Does... yes, that spot does seem to be bigger than the others. Don't you think?"
The next words that flew out of the other she-cat's mouth hit close to home. And, quite frankly, were a huge. Mistake. Lacrimosa, forgetting any care about her fur, ran up to Firecloud, ramming her nose near the other cat, breathing down her neck. "Don't you ever say that ever again or I will slit your throat right here right now. I've gotten farther than you ever will in your life. I've accomplished more. You want to know why? It's because I've gotten away from those cursed clans, which your loyalty will never let you leave unless you die! Even then you'll be going to 'Starclan'. Face it. There is no Starclan and no hope in those clans you think are oh-so-great. Think again when you open your mouth," She hissed.
Those last few seconds went in a blurr. Lacrimosa was fine about anything except for people contradicting her about clans. That was getting your nose in her past and she would not stand for it. The orange bengal stood her ground, waiting for the other cat to argue with her. If she was going to argue again, she'd get more than just a piece of the rogue's mind. More like a broken leg.

Firecloud;; Firecloud held her breath, thinking quickly. She didn’t want her throat sliced—who did?—but she didn’t want Lacrimosa to have the last word. It almost always was that way. Fire, breathe. You’ll be fine. Maybe if you wouldn’t open your mouth every time you get the chance, things would be different. But, don’t worry about it, and you’ll do fine. Something was bothering the orange tabby, and it was evident, too. Maybe it was the fact that the orange tabby was about to do something that would possibly end her life? Or was it the fact that maybe, just maybe, she might actually get out alive? But if it was the second, why would that bother her? Well, she would most likely get into some major trouble; but, this was her business. Things were personal with Lacrimosa. Could she get in trouble for that? Oh well, she’d question it later.
As the seconds ticked by—slowly, in Firecloud’s mind—the warrior just stared at the Bengal cat only a few feet away from her. Firecloud knew that Lacrimosa’s threats were no joke. No joke at all. She’d found that out the hard way, although she had really always known. She just didn’t know when to shut her mouth, or to stop looking for trouble. Eyes flickering around wildly, in search of inspiration for a way to further aggravate the cat that stood before her, a light-bulb went on in Fire’s mind. Her idea was stupid, yet it seemed oddly smart and clever to the cat. No, she wasn’t going to run away and get help. She was going to push Lacrimosa to her limits. That is, if she has any.
Taking a long, deep breath, she rested her eyes on Lacrimosa. No eye contact. Listening intently for a moment, the tabby began to circle the Bengal, as if she were the predator. How ironic, since she was the exact opposite. Coming to Lacrimosa’s right side, Firecloud stopped, and hesitated. Only for a moment, though. Running full speed, the orange tabby rammed into the Bengal’s side, knocking her forcefully to the ground. Crouching, so she could whisper in her ear—and mainly for the fact that it had more of an effect—the cat said, “Go ahead, I dare ya.” The words were icy and demonic as they rolled off the cat’s tongue. Pulling back after only a brief moment of remaining in her position, the she-cat watched and waited, out of harm’s way. For the moment.
