Lynxheart
Name: Lynx/kit/paw/heart Age: Twenty four moons Birthday: Fourth of March Ranking: Deputy
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies.
Physical Description: Lynxheart is a medium furred seal lynx point she cat. She has short legs, which makes her come off quite small compared to an average clan cat. Thanks to the long fur, no scars are visible, except on the muzzle and forehead.
Under the thick layer of fur she is muscular and well trained, built for stamina. Thanks to her short legs, she is quite slow runner.
Her head is shaped streamlined, ears are small and ticked. The nose is the same colour as her pawpads, dark brown. The only thing breaking the range of warm colours in her appearance are her deep, sky blue eyes.
Personality Description: Lynxheart is an understanding, cold headed and smart cat, but that, only around a friend of hers. And this lass doesn't have many of those that she calls her friends, it's really hard to gain her trust. Around strangers Lynxheart is reserved and quiet.Without a clear threat to her or her clan, she avoids acting hostile.
Being blessed with a sharp mind and obstinate personality, Lynxheart will never give up on an argument, as long as it includes words, only. Thought her sharp notes might irritate others with an ease, she, usually, knows when to stop so that she could prevent the fight, and still leave the argument as a winner. Lynxheart finds it amusing to see others puzzled by what she says, and she never misses a chance of making a bit fun of others that are not as bright minded as she is.
Around wittier cats, Lynxheart can easily be carried away in an conversation and prove pretty chatty, yet she never gives out anything about herself.
Likes:
- Smart cats
- Warmth
- Silence
Dislikes:
- Water
- Crowds
- Those not as smart as her
This is the dawning of the rest of our lives.
Lynxkit
''Mom?'' sounded the whisper, barely louder than the rustle of the fresh leaves, yet loud enough to wake the young queen. ''What is it, love?'' she asked, stretching closer to her offspring, ''Did you have a bad dream?'' Lynxkit lifted her head up, eyeing the starry night sky that shined from the entrance of The Nursery, ''Are my brothers up there now?'' The question had come a surprise to the queen, who now seemed distant, gazing something out of the sight. For a second, the kit could read the sadness from her eyes, ''.. Yes. They're up there, looking out for us. Go to sleep now.''
Lynxpaw
What's the point of patrolling when nothing ever happens. the mid-furred lynx point snort quietly, following the two warriors through the forest. It's more like a nice summer walk, nice excuse. She gazed upon her mentor, with a slight resentment. How did he become a warrior anyway? All he does is fooling around with the females. The apprentice now eyed the fresh warrior, that was walking side to side with her former, and Lynxpaws current, mentor. Foolishness. the apprentice thought, rolling her eyes.
Lynxheart
''Me? A deputy? Is this some kind of joke?" Lynxheart questioned the leader. She had never been good with communicating with other clan cats, and now she was offered to be their to-be-leader? The she-cat opened her mouth to refuse, but something, something in her head told her to say yes. Well.. If the leader accepts me as a deputy.. why shouldn't others? The lynx point snapped her jaws back together, with her thoughts running through her head. After a short pause, she announced with a wide smile;''If that's really your choice, I won't argue you."
For the ones who died without a name.
The air was wet and heavy, the small water droplets on the plants and leaves of the trees reflected the last sunbeams. Lynxheart ran towards the last rays light, as the sun sank behind the horizon, flaming up the sky and painting it the colour of fresh blood. Without a sound, the she rushed through the ancient forest. The only noise being the rhythmic beating of her heart, the sound of her breathing, and the almost silent thumps of her paw pads hitting the soft and mossy ground.
She wasn't sure why she ran, nor did she know where she was going. All she knew, she was running from death itself. And it was catching up. The shadows lengthened, as the sun sank, dropping it's crimson light on the forest. With every second passing, the shadows were longer and the darkness was thicker, closer. And then it was there, the sun was gone, she was alone in the middle of pitch black darkness. Lynxheart shuddered as a silent scream pierced the still air. She closed her eyes, as she knew, there was no escape.
The deputy was awakened by her own scared yowl, she was laying in her den, shattered and shivering. With a quick glimpse of the entrance, she assured it was still night and the dark sky was still shimmering with stars. Slowly, her breath slowed and her heart stopped pounding against her ribs. What are you, a deputy or a scared kit? Stop making a big deal out of your dreams. Lynxheart thought to herself, irritated by how much a dream could effect her.
I should go see Honeymist about this. Just in case. the deputy thought, gazing into the infinite night sky, Tomorrow.
