Lynxheart --
Lynxheart had already loved the echo of the winds as an apprentice. It was nothing that could be found anywhere else, a whisper of something bodiless. Something unfathomable. Like memories.
She had laid down on the edge of the clearing, resting her head on her paws and enjoying the light breeze. Her deep, blue eyes gazing the white tufts of clouds that were slowly crawling the sky. It felt good to finally get away from the clan and to have some time for herself so that she could clear her mind. Perhaps the non stop fuss around the camp was the only thing she didn't like about Shadeclan. Yet the benefits outweigh the flaws. A wry smile slipped over her face. She wasn't sure of her place in her clan, maybe she wasn't good enough for the place. What if she failed them all. Pictures of her friends, her family, rushed through her mind.
The lynx point she-cat got up, shaking herself to get rid of the dirt, that had gotten stuck in her long fur, as well as to get rid of the doubts and fear. Setting her gaze on the shadowy silhouettes of the pines that restrained the darkened field, it seemed that she saw something move between the trees. What..?

Blacklightning stretched. "Must I always do this to myself?" She muttered. Suddenly she heard something. Her head shot up and her ears perked towards the sound. Blacklightning's body tensed as she searched for threats.
"Oh." She said upon seeing Lynxheart. I must look ridiculous, she thought suddenly. It was true, her fur was all messed up and she was wet with dew, not to mention how tired she looked and sounded. Saying nothing more she sat and began grooming her legs.
It didn't matter really. Her fur was black and short. Blacklightning stood again and began moving, more focused on getting the feeling back into her sore ands tired legs than on Lynxheart. There was no real reason in her mind to pay attention to the other clan member at the moment, so she went along with her business the way she believed she was supposed to. Her eyes narrowed as she passed awry paw over her head to get at her ear.
After successfully cleaning her head she stood and sook out each of her legs. It was odd how much she was sitting and standing, but she paid it no mind as she decided wether or not she should leave.

Lynxheart --
Lynxheart tensened, she started passing the field to reach whatever had moved in the shadows. Her heart beating faster against her chest and the wind whispering in her ears, the she-cat trotted closer to the destination. Just before Lynx would approach the edge of the clearing, a sudden breeze carried a familiar scent to her, it wasn't an intruder.
The change of the feline's mood and goal was evident, as she realised the presence of a clanmate. She could tell, who it was, by the scent. "Hello there, Blacklightning." the lynx point greeted her clanmate, as she approached her. The deputy was rather surprised to find the warrior sitting, wet to the bone, and cleaning herself. "..Seems that you have been up to something? You look tired." Lynxheart questioned the dark-furred she-cat, sounding maybe a bit too demanding for the situation.

"Hi." Blacklightning said, her attention now on the deputy. She listened to Lynxheart's demand of explanation for her current state. "Am I ever not doing something?" She asked, green eyes resting on Lynxheart.
She really didn't want to admit that even when she had free time she still worked hard and trained. There was no rule against warriors practicing, but how often do you find a warrior battle training? Or after all that training heading to the echo clearing, climbing at tree, then falling asleep in it, and consequently allowing her to fall from the tree? To Blacklightning it was all really very truly embarrassing.
She knew that she really should go back to camp when she finishes practicing, but she never really did. The only time she was not tired or sore was when she was confined to camp or on border patrol so it wasn't all that unusual for her to be in this state. She wasn't one to lie but what Blacklightning said next and how she said it would depend entirely on what the deputy said or asked next. She popped her neck slowly and blinked a few times. It was well enough that Lynxheart had sounded demanding, for Blacklightning constantly had trouble with idle chatter.
