Her muscles were on fire. Not just those beginning feelings of fatigue when you're already tired but you know you have to get up the next morning but the deep resonating burning ache of being pushed too far. It was already almost sun down and Darkpaw had been working with Nightscar since before the sun was even in the sky.
"again." Nightscar's deep mew commanded his apprentice and she moved, writhing at an invisible enemy, lashing out with un-sheathed claws. When she landed she growled to herself in pain, her ears pinned back flush to her skull while her back arched in a stretch. With her tail lashing she stalked forward,
"Sometimes, I really think you just hate me." she snarled, small as she was she still had a thick attitude. As a pair, Nightscar and Darkpaw definitely did not get along, the majority of the time actually Nightscar even passed her onto some other willing cat he either seduced or frightened but when he did train her, he trained her hard. More often than not she couldn't walk the next day and she knew that tomorrow as going to be one of those days. Darkly, Nightscar snickered, his claws flexing with agitation and blue eyes flickering savagely. He stalked towards his dark apprentice and the two padded in a dearth circle, their eyes locked and hackles raised, the tension in the air would make anyone think that they were about to burst into spitting balls of claws and fangs and fur. But, both knew neither would make a move in the form of battle. Instead they stopped stalking one another, breaking off to glare at one another. Instead of spiting his apprentice though with some sort of harsh reprimand he smiled a toothy fanged devil's grin and mewed darkly,
"It's nothing personal Darkpaw, it never is, you're just my apprentice and this is the pecking order."
