Walk proudly. "Speak loudly." Think silently.
A pair of deep red eyes stuck up of some thick bush leaves, thoroughly scanning the dark, cold surroundings. It was night again. The only time of the day this young she-cat revealed herself. Or at least, she was able to convince herself she was better off that way. The daylight usually annoyed her, especially when that purely unforgiving sun would make itself so noticeable through those fatal hot rays which the young female couldn't stand at all. The night environment, though, felt so familiar, so hospitable. She felt comfortable then, able to face whatever the dark would choose to bring her. Like that night.
Her dark gray ears rose, pointed forward and towards the endless black forest that lay before her. She turned her head over her shoulder and stared down at the narrow path she had followed till she reached this spot, wondering if anybody had followed her. She would rather have her sister with her that night, for as tough as she wanted her given impressions to be, she was still a little doubtful entering unknown territories with her own. Territories which could easily belong to other groups of loners, or worse. Clans. Her entire body shivered at the thought of that word, her tail fur slightly rising and standing still while the wind blew around and messed up the rest of her silky pelt. Clans were another thing in the long list of things she couldn't stand. Of course, she had never really been a true part of one, so a tiny part of her felt like there was no reason to judge them. However, she still considered them a threat, one that was usually unbeatable.
Picking up her pace, she continued following the tiny path, heading deeper into the silent forest. With all of her senses on call, she stopped and stared down at the tall grass, allowing her sensitive nose touch one of the thin pieces. The scent was rather familiar, but hostile. She was slowly getting there. Her entire body lowered closer to the ground, as she began to stalk towards the safety of a berry bush. Her ears suddenly flicked, and she stared down at one of her paws. A sharp sound echoed, and the female shut her red eyes together as she remained still in her position. Sticks. Perfect. Even though it was against her will, she had just made any stalking predators, as well as other cats, aware of her presence.

Blacklightning's head poked out of the leafy barrier at the top of the tree, her paws gripping tightly onto large bundles of thin branches, that would sink and rise whenever she moved, causing a feeling of unbalance within her, the warriors movements gave a similar impression as that of the wind, swaying the branches and rustling the leaves.
She usually wouldn't climb quite this high in a tree, but the view was amazing. From where her head poked out, the tops of many trees, the camp, the echo clearing, and more were visible from here. The forest floor, from which she had just heard the snapping of a branch, was another matter entirely. She pulled her head back through the barrier of leaves and turned, the unevenness of the movement not surprising her at all.
Getting back to the sturdy branches was an easy but unsettling task, still, Blacklightning was able to do it without much thought on the subject. The warrior was able to silently climb down to where she could see the ground again. She saw the other cat, her ears flicking in slight annoyance. She moved down, knowing by the smell it was a loner.
At the bottom Blacklightning simply watched the other cat, waiting to be noticed. She sat there with her eyes following the other cat, not feeling any obligation to do anything just yet.

Silversky
The silver she-cat rose her head, sniffing the clammy and still night-air. Picking up the scent was easy. The trail was still fresh. Her eyes gleaming icy cold in the dimness, she set herself on a trot. Big had been Silvs' surprise when she woke up and didn't find her sister anywhere near their camp. Always wondering off like that.. Usually, the young she-cat enjoyed the night. As a kitten, she'd always loved to thing of the moon as an eye. When the eye was open, she knew someone was watching over her. Tonight, the moon was barely visible. Suppressing a shiver, Silversky accelerated her pace.
She shouldn't be far away. Inhaling, to make sure she was still following the right path, the silvery she-cat finally went over to a long-paced glaop. She could already see her sisters gray pelt from between the trees, when a sudden neon green flash cought her eye. Someone is playing hide-n-seek, Silvs rolled her eyes, trying to think of what to do, I never liked games that much anyway.
With an elegant jump, the blue-eyed lass stood under the branch of the tree. She knew her sister would recognize her almost immidietly, so she didn't bother to tell.
"Isn't it a bit too late for a little tail-chaser like you to play hide, alone in the forest? You could get hurt." she teased the stranger. Her icy eyes glowed in amusement as she gazed the spot she had seen the flash of green.

Walk proudly. "Speak loudly." Think silently.
The red-eyed female gazed up, her ears still standing straight and pointed towards the noise of rustling leaves. However, the sound was sharp, like somebody was walking through thick branches like ones of a bush, and not soft, like the wind playing around tree leaves. Her shimmering glance immediately landed on a pair of bright green eyes surrounded by thick foliage. She was being watched? Well, that was funny, since she was awaiting an attack, or at least an aggressive hiss. Is that how these fools protect their territory? If so, it certainly doesn't seem like they deserve this land for themselves, she thought silently, rising on her four paws and standing taller than the grass once again.
With her confidence restored, the blue she-cat lay in waiting. Waiting for something to happen. Somebody to leap at her and knock her down. Or at least somebody to spit out something harsh and demand for her to vanish off their sight. But neither of those happened. The wind blew once again, but it wasn't quiet and gentle anymore, it was wheezing and felt more like a whip. Could a storm be approaching? She glanced up at the cloudy night sky, but she couldn't bother to think about it any longer. She had discovered something else in the air that seemed to be a lot more interesting. A familiar scent, one that could only belong to a very special somebody. I knew you'd come.
Returning her intense red gaze to the tree, she noticed a new, brightly-coloured silhouette making her entrance with a graceful jump. The grey she-cat began to slowly pace towards the tree where interesting things seemed to be ready to happen. Her ears flicked at the sound of her sister's voice in the dark, and her lips curved into a sneaky smirk without her even noticing. She stopped under the tree and gazed up to the duo; her sister with those silvery blue eyes of hers, and another very dark, probably black body which appeared to have possessed that glowing pair of green eyes. Her legs still felt numb from that awkward position she had remained in, and she certainly didn't feel like getting humiliated in a possibly failed attempt to reach them.
"Oh don't you be so harsh with our dearest strangers." she spat, faking an angry face. "Look and learn! Hmm, my dear, what is your name?" she continued, pronouncing the word 'name' in an ostentatiously mocking tone. Foolishfoot, maybe?

"I see, is climbing a tree to enjoy the view so shameful now?" She retorted to the blue eyed one. Now, being teased for a name they didn't even know was sad in itself. So she turned, to the red eyed one. Blacklightning was full of different comebacks for that one, but her favorite would do.
The scar over her left eye, neither had commented on it. Blacklightning saw that as strange, but then she remembered that not only was her fur black, it was night and she was in a shadow. She stood up, her green eyes flashing further and spoke, "Why my name is Black-" all of a sudden she was in front of the red eyed one, "-lightning." Now for sure her scar and eyes were perfectly visible to this one.
She had nothing personal against these two at all, for she had never met the pair before. Still, they could be a threat. For now though, since she had time, truly Blacklightning hardly ever slept at camp so no one would be looking for her, there was no reason to leap at conclusions and immediately attack. If violence came into play however... She had quite a few options, now she stepped back a few paces so she had some space to move and was not so drastically close to the other cat.

Silversky
Silvs flicked her ears. Showoff. The silvery she-cat rolled her eyes. "Shameful? Why no! Everyone climbs trees and stalks others at night sometimes." her voice dripping of sarcasm, she eyed Blacklightning defiantly. Seeing that no one else was going to say anything, Silvs continued, "I forgot to introduce myself, how rude of me! You can call me Silversky, but friends call me Silvs." the tone hadn't changed. How odd it must be, hearing me talk. I'm so confusing.
With a slight grin on her muzzle, the blue-eyed feline pinted at the gray she cat next to her. I'm sure you're glad to meet my sister, now that we all have gotten to know eachother," the gaze of her icy eyes turned back on the green-eyed she-cat, "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be warming yourself under the wings of your dear clan?"
This really lit the blue-eyed cats curiousity, the schemes of someone watching them, wanting to hurt had already crossed her mind, Remember, don't jump in to conclusions.

» {{.Firecloud.}} {{.Sharp-witted; apprehensive.}} {{.17 moons.}}« The young, orange tabby stretched, a light yawn escaping her mouth. Shaking her head slightly, she straightened, glancing around with a feeling of uneasiness settling over her. The warrior perked her ears, listening for any sound that was out of the ordinary. Now, not that a snapping stick was out of the ordinary, but for this particular she-cat, this was something worth investigating. The sound echoed repeatedly throughout her mind; her fragile, fragile mind. She'd been on the brink of insanity for a little while now, although she never expressed this, for fear that once she did, her fantasies and realities would collide, and she wouldn't know the difference between the two.
With a soft sigh, Firecloud bolted forward, running lightly. Her feet touched the ground daintly, as to not give herself away as she neared her destination. Even though she was quite close to the clan borders, she didn't think much of it. It wasn't something she thought was important to pay much attention to, anymore. She wouldn't be stupid enough to cross into another clan's territory without good reason, so being nearer to them tham made most other cats uncomfortable didn't bother her. Slowing, the tabby came to a halt, ears perked once more, eyes scanning the cool, airy night for anyone other than herself.
No one. That's who she saw. But, that didn't mean she couldn't necessarily smell no one. A faint smell of--three?--other cats drifted her way in the small breeze, but she couldn't make out whose scents they were. Padding slowly, she stopped as close to the border as anyone might be stupid enough to do. Just one more step, and she'd be in ShadeClan. The thought didn't shake her; the sight of three other cats did. One--the easiest to see--stood on the ground, looking up at a tree. Searching quickly for any others, the cat had spotted two more up in the tree which held the other cats attention.
Side-stepping off to the side, into the coverage of some thick foliage--unaware she had just interlaced herself with the intricate designs of vines and leaves mixed together. Firecloud took in a sharp breath, almost positive she'd been seen. It wasn't that big of a deal, was it? It wasn't like she was in their territory. Although, something seemed misplaced, because only one scent that reached her had been a ShadeClan cat. She stiffened, flicking her tail back and forth anxiously. The warrior had always had a problem with loners; and for that, you could blame the one that murdered her mother in cold-blood, and Lacrimosa. Her hackles raised at the thought of being with more loners; and it scared the hell out of her, too.
Closing her dusty blue eyes, Firecloud shuddered, looking calm on the outside, but screaming like a demon on the inside. Why did she always have to sneak out of camp at night? Maybe her sanity was diminishing quicker than she thought; or she was already insane, but didn't know it yet. Which was it? One or the other, or neither. One large, complex question, with only one answer that hadn't yet been deciphered. All she had to do was back out of the foliage she was almost certainly tangled up in, and make her way very quietly away from the group not too far away from her. Was it really that hard? Probably so. Already guessing she'd been seen, it'd be completely useless to try and escape now. Not to mention the noise she would make trying to get out of the mess she was caught up in--literally.
Lifting one paw up, the slim, orange cat weaved her way slowly and quietly, even though she was making hardly just enough noise to alert the three other cats near her. If they hadn't seen her only a minute before, any chance of leaving without being noticed had just slipped from her already loose grasp. Hanging her head, she finally emerged from the thick, dark bushes and vines that had entangled her, and shook her head at herself. Trying to compose herself, she refrained from yelling at herself, as she didn't want the others to think of her as unstable and easy prey to taunting and teasing. Although, she was just a bit unstable, she was nowhere near easy to hurt with words. Of course, she would break down at one point in time, but she would worry about that when the time came.
From sub-consciously listening to the faint trickle of words flowing to her, she had caught the names Blacklightning--which sounded quite familiar--and Silversky. Both beautiful names, but not worth commenting on at the moment. Waiting for the appropriate time to introduce herself seemed smart, so that's what the warrior did. Knowing it wouldn't be long before she had to speak, the cat studied each figure, trying to get her mind off of the fact that she was probably in some deep, deep trouble. But, it wasn't anything new to her, since she was accident-prone and had a knack for attracting trouble. Like earlier said, it just scared the hell out of her. Well, not all the time, but this was unexplored territory, and it frightened her. Dealing with a cat from another clan, and two loners; well, this certainly would be interesting, and surely it wouldn't be very pleasing. Unexplored territory, to Firecloud, always had a tendency to pop out at the worst time and place.

Walk proudly. "Speak loudly." Think silently.
She gazed back to the ground, ears flicked, body well-positioned and ready to sprint away. But she wouldn't. Would she? Silversky was just a few feet away, up on the safety of a tree. And the grey she-cat knew her sister well enough to tell when she was more than ready to leap on that black-coloured lass and rip her eyes out of her filthy face. While thinking of those, she failed to pay as much as attention as she should have to the young Clan cat, who was now standing tall right in front of her muzzle. The red-eyed female didn't make a movement, certainly not one the other cat could take as a threat. She knew very well that both her and her sister were exposed, and wrong moves were simply not what they needed. They had to act smart, take advantage of the situation in the best way there was.
She let her burning red gaze land upon the stranger's face, who had just pronounced a few words that arrived to her ears as "Blacklightning". It didn't take long for her to realize she was simply watching a big-headed idiot show off her speed, and name. How foolish of her. But, the she-cat was in the mood to play, and she wouldn't disagree about joining an already existing game. Blacklightning's game, at that. She huffed contemptuously, cold air coming out of her tiny nose. Stepping forward, she glanced deeply into the Clan cat's eyes with her own flaming red ones, while her muzzle was just a breath away from hers. "Is that it?" she whispered, in a mocking, maybe careless way, one could say. "Well, that's a pretty name. For show-offs. Unless you haven't noticed, mine would be something as simple as Redsky."
It was just then when she began to silently study the she-cat's features, which were now clearly visible under the moonlight. Her face wasn't completely black, and her bright green eyes weren't the only thing of a different colour. A thin scar ran down her left eye, but that was not enough to impress someone like Redsky. Sure, this cat could be a lot more tough than she looked, but so far she was doing a very poor job of convincing the duo she truly was. The grey female remained still for several seconds, and only took a step back when she felt ensured that unpredictable lass had taken a taste of what kind of strangers she was dealing with. Redsky nodded with a smirk, her eyes stuck upon the black cat as she backed away to her own ground.
Redsky was fully prepared to speak again, when another interesting sound reached her ears, which flicked at once. Her eyesight could be slightly restricted, however her hearing was not only incomparable, but certainly not ordinary too. Before turning around to scan her surroundings, she gazed up the tree where her sister continued to be settled on. Her words had fallen deaf to Redsky's ears, and she felt quite bad for that. Her mind was traveling elsewhere, and she was unable to pay attention to everybody, failing to comprehend the severity of the situation. She needed more than speech for reassurance. With a quick, cautionary nod of her head, she attempted to let her sister know it was probably the right time to come down.
She eventually turned, her intense red gaze immediately landing upon the thick foliage of a bush several feet away. Somebody was trying to make themselves vanish off everyone's sights, but the sharp sound of rustling leaves had given them away. Redsky turned to give Blacklightning one final glance. The black silhouette of the cat's looked restrained, certainly not preparing to attack. The red-eyed female snorted, returning her attention to the fourth one whose identity they had yet to learn. Should she speak? Should she command them to show themselves? No, they could easily be more clan cats who had come to rescue that naive black lass. Redsky slowly made a few hesitant steps back, her red pair of wide-open eyes staring directly upon the dark leaves. Come out, sweetheart..
Finally, her grey tail flicked with annoyance as movement of leaves could be heard once again and a dark, orange figure began to step out of that damned bush. Redsky gave her a wild look with her eyes shimmering in a their usual deep red hue. It was probably another warrior. However, this one looked somewhat confused or afraid. Lost. It was probably not their intention, but they had just made themselves clear they were not here to protect, nor to attack. Perhaps just a hungry mouth wandering around for a piece of a filthy mouse tail?, she thought to herself, making a few steps forward, away from the duo, and eyeing the new figure. "State your name and intentions, or turn away and run off, kid."

Blacklightning didn't usually speak very much, so she chose not to reply to the insults, but merely raise an eyebrow. Her ear twitched at the sound of leaves, and her body did nothing to display the massive amount of irritation and anger building up in the usually silent cat.
The scent of Brushclan met her nose and her tail twitched. She raised her head to take a look at the sky, it was almost dawn, good. Okay, now that they were insulting her name, clan, and skills, she was perfectly ready to jump on the nearest cat and tear them to shreds. Not to mention there was another clan's cat on Shadeclan territory.
She was not a big fan of other clan's cats, sure earlier she had nothing against the loners, but now.... It took quite a lot of self control on her part to not be tearing the nearest cat, which happened to be Redsky, to bloody shreds. If she did that, there would be noise, and noise would probably bring the dawn patrol looking. "Quite the stereo-type you two are making," She turned to the Brushclan warrior now addressing the fact that it was on the wrong side of the border, "And you should learn where you're supposed to be walking." Her irritation rang through all of the words showing just how close she was to attacking. If they didn't provoke her further there would be no need for bloodshed, still there was always the other way around.
Her tail lashed a bit as she moved to where she had a better range of movement and view of everything. Oddly enough, her fur did not bristle and her claws did not come out. She merely glared at them all with her bright green eyes. If anything, the dawn patrol, if they were all still here by then, would immediately attack the intruders. She was giving them a choice, and they better choose well.

Silversky
The air was stiff with tention, the trio stood, tense and awating for something to happen. The whisper of Redsky broke the silence. "Is that it? Well, that's a pretty name. For show-offs. Unless you haven't noticed, mine would be something as simple as Redsky." Nice one. Silversky was, once again, impressed by the way her sister had turned down the clanner. Always good with comebacks.
She glanced down, her gaze landing upon her sister's worried expression. It didn't take long to understand, it was probably time to let the actual game begin. With a graceful leap, she landed on the soft, grassy ground, nearly making no noise at all. She glanced up, her silvery blue eyes shimmering under the little moonlight that was still left in the cloudy sky, and picked up her pace towards her sister's side.
Her sister had noticed something. Silvs could tell it by the little change in her sisters pose. Just a minor, momental, ripple in Redskys flawless mask of calmness. The clanner is still, it's not about her. This only leaves.. Instinctively, the icy-eyed she-cat inhaled, trying to catch a scent in the still night air. Success. Someone else was near. By the mix of the scents, she could tell, Another clan-cat. Sudden strike understanding hit Silversky. Ambush?
Yet, Blacklightning didn't seem too happy about the newcomer. Or mayhaps just a wonderer. she thought scornfully, calming herself. Redsky had turned around, facing something or someone behind them. So that's where you're hiding, little stranger. Still gazing Blacklightning, the blue-eyed feline smirked in her face. The calm mask on the felines face amused Silversky. Everyone could see you're just anotherodd one. Drop the mask, puppet.
A rustle of leaves behind her, the newbie revealed itself? Jolly. "State your name and intentions, or turn away and run off, kid." Redskys deep voice echoed in the woods, Spooky. The smirk on the silver felines face widened, revealing her pearly white canines. Whoever it was, hiding there, they must have been shaking in fear. Her sisters burning red eyes were enough to scare the bravest of the so-called Warriors. How smart of them. To be afraid. Silversky had seen Redsky in the battle. None could escape her claws.
"Quite the stereo-type you two are making," Silversky snort under her breath. What a witty comeback. Somewhat, it did arrogate her, she couldn't care less about comments on herself, but when it came to Redsky, she was short tempered. The black-furred warrior now turned to the figure standing behind them. "And you should learn where you're supposed to be walking."
Do not ignore my questions. The ignorance of the she-cat had irritated Silversky before, now, she was close to loosing it. Calm. You won't start the fight. That's her job.Just to make the silence drag, she quickly scanned the stranger. Her fur was pitch black, how special. There was a scar running over her left eye. A weakness. Silversky knew no cat could get away with such scar without losing most of the sight. How sad. I should be crying for your miserable state. With burning tempt to sink her claws in to that already scarred face, Silversky stared at the black she-cat, she could swear she had seen a flash of anger in the clanners green eyes. Don't try to act though, tail-chaser. I'll crack you. I'll crack you open just like I did with the other ones. "Pity. Some never learn, do they.." she mewed softly, taking a step to put herself between the stranger in the bushes, and Blacklightning. And you. You are our little miss perfect, ey, puppet? with each word, the she-cat got closer to her opponents face, her silvery blue eyes gleaming. The green-eyed lass had started to bore her. With a snort, she turned away from the ever-so-calm-Blacklightning-the-great. Taking a quick look at the stranger she ensured herself, this one wasn't to harm. The ginger feline was definitely young. And lost. Her blue eyes told more than words could. Yet, Silversky felt something was off with this one. Blacklightning was just another though-nut. The ginger tabby was different, something deep down in her eyes reminded Silvs of someone. .. Myself? The silver tabby was tempted to shake herself, the stranger spooked her. No. It's just the night playing tricks on you. She told herself. "You seem lost, doll." Facing the orange tabby, she grinned at her surprise. Maybe they could get this one to dance for them. "I do wonder, what is a little kitty like you doing out all alone? There are monsters out there, with sharp claws and wicked intentions. You should be at home. Hiding under the wings of the idiots that fight for your so called Clan." She stepped closer to the bush. "Or maybe. Maybe you're one of the idiots, just like Blacklightning back there?" she pointed her nose at the black-furred cat. Come 'n dance with us.[/blockquote][/blockquote] Words ; 807 Notes ; Me no gusta so much words ;n; Oh and, Black, or Fire, could one of you please wound Silvs' left side, like the back leg part? ;o; Muse; 45%

» {{.Firecloud.}} {{.Smug; sarcastic.}} {{.17 moons.}}« The young cat stood, frozen, listening intently to her newly found 'acquaintances' chatter amongst themselves. And then they turned to look at her. Oh, how quickly that dreaded moment had come. Much, much too quickly. Her eyes flickered about once more, from one cat to the other. Her surfacing insanity and deep paranoia caused her to scream out at herself. "Stop it!" Blank stares from the group wouldn't have been surprising, but that's not what she got. No. Instead, she received snide comments and rude remarks, causing her to have the blank expression. Kid? Surely she wasn't the one being called a kid? But it only made sense for that to be true. Since she was the newcomer, and the only one at that, all of these things were directed at her.
Dragging out the long, somewhat odd silence between them all, Firecloud finally began to speak: "I don't have to tell you either of those, and I won't. Now, I know that answer must annoy you greatly, but I don't really give a damn." Her words were simple, yet had a quality that made you shudder. Closing her eyes for a moment to get a grip on reality, she sighed, although it wasn't one that could be heard with ease. Blue eyes fluttering open softly, the orange figure looked at the ground, all confusion and terror placed aside for the time being. Pawing at the ground, the slim cat glanced at Blacklightning, smirking childishly to herself on the inside.
"Well, Black-if I can call you that-you should try using your eyes a little better sometime, see where it gets you. Because, in fact, I'm not yet in your territory, as I think you had thought I was." Pausing, she shrugged slightly, realizing she probably just confused the others a bit, as well as herself. But, she continued. "You see, if I were to raise a paw like this-," she cut herself off once more, and motioned with her head to her raised paw,"-and move it forward a little, and set it down, like this, then I would be in your territory." As the words were spoken, the actions were done. "Oh, would you look at that! Seems I am in your territory! Now, anyways."
Turning to face the last of the trio, the tabby flicked her tail, hesitating to say something. Not because she was afraid-oh, heavens, no-but because she was trying to make up a smart-ass comment like she'd done with the previous two. After a brief thinking session, something hit her. "Lost? Why, no. And wonder you shall, because there are many reasons this little kitty is out all alone. Reasons she will not tell. And if I'm guessing correctly, you're Silversky? Such a beautiful, elegant name that covers so many lies and much deception. So, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I'm standing right in front of a monster with sharp claws and wicked intentions. And something tells me that not even this doll can get out of harms way this time. Am I right?" Taking a breath of air, she continued on: "Idiots? Well, I must say, I am an idiot. I'm not afraid to admit it, either. Black surely is not an idiot, she just has a tiny problem with her eyesight."
Finally finished with her comebacks, Firecloud stretched, and finally sat down. Yep, this was beginning to et interesting, and a bit heated. There really was nothing more the tabby could say to add to her trouble, and she wasn't planning on it until everyone else had had their say. Waiting patiently, she looked up at the sky, bright, twinkling stars sprinkled across the night. Beautiful; more so than Silversky's name...
